Pawel Tomasz Wasilewski also referred to by the name Paul Wesley, is an Oscar-winning director and actor famous for his work in the cult television the show The Vampire Diaries. His work on the series has garnered him several distinctions, awards, and nominations. They include The Teen Choice Awards and the "Young Hollywood Awards". Wesley was born in New Brunswick New Jersey and brought up in America, United States, showed interest in acting during his elementary high school years. In the future the actor enrolled in Rutgers University. He dropped out after realizing what the potential he had as an actor. The cult American TV soap Another World was his first TV part. His next TV role was on his role on the CBS series Wolf Lake. When he was cast in the character Stefan Salvatore for the American hit TV show The Vampire Diaries, his professional life was completely transformed.
